well, golly and gee whiz, ligia, I sure am glad that your doorman's wife finally pinched his butt and made him give you your package!
You could have moved and he would have kept it.
Tri-aangles...sounds purty...you gonna show us a pic when you get done?
I am not going to make any new year's resolutions, but, I am going to get more WIP's done in the coming year.
I am almost thru cleaning my sew-cave, so I can get back to my machine. woootie hoo! I might make some new potholders. IF'N...i do, i'll post a pic!

Jingle bells, and jungle bells,
Santa's on his way,
To all board members
Who joined the swap
And stay good until THE da-ay!

Terri's baby is having twins,
Oh what joy, what cheer,
Will she open her box before or after,
Or maybe just crack open a beer? (root beer, that is  )

We're counting down to dive in our box,
The heat is on, maybe need some locks,
People itching, fingers twitching
But they must remember too...
If they are bad and Santa sees,
At Christmas they'll be blue!

beckyw 12-07-2009 03:15 PM

My package is very good. No sound at all. Went to 4H meeting ,supper and caroling with my son Brandan yesterday. Decorated the tree yesterday. Made doll quilt with granddaughter Kallie saturday. Went to Christmas concert at school today. Need to clean sewing room tonight. My granddaughter Kallie made a Christmas stocking today after the concert. Kallie likes to sew everytime she come to my house. If it isn't sewing it's baking. Last weekend we bake. She doesn't like grandpa very much because he gets after her because she makes a mess. It's just easier to clean up after her.

Oklahoma Suzie 12-07-2009 04:03 PM

Well it is just days till the 13th, and still no package here.

I knew it wasn't going to be a very Merry Christmas for the family but now this??????? I feel like there will never be happiness again.

Truepeach -
I hear you. Three years ago on the 19th of Dec. my son skidded off the road, down an embankment and totatled his brand new truck that he had only had for 6 months. He was sighted for a DUI. I was so upset, you cannot imagine all the things that went through my head. I had to keep telling myself that he was okay, it was on a vehicle. He has paid dearly for his mistake in insurance, fines and etc. He has done a lot of growing up since then and we are much closer as a family.

Thanks heavens everyone is okay and do have a Merry Christmas.

We are all here for you.

To try and make her look human is considered cosmetic surgery which is not covered by any insurance company.

So sorry this happen to your family and you and yourfamily are in my prayers.

OHHHH MY I didnt see what happened to your daughter!! Keeping her and your family in my prayers xoxoxoxo

STAR 12-08-2009 04:30 AM

Ok my SS was SO nice and sent me a second little package!! But I was SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOO mad!!  The poor little box was VIOLATED by the PO!! they opened it up and taped it back together with a letter on the outside stating that my pkg was open for inspection!!!!!!!!! So they looked through MY present and then taped it up all crazy!! Did anyone else get this!!

Well when I got home from school I showed DH and he couldn't believe it!! so looking closer there was a gap in the taping! so luckily my pkg didn't get wet or it would have been soaked through! Dh decided to open it up to check, he was very upset because he knew that my SS wouldn't just SHOVE all the stuff inside the box. Inside was another letter about the contents being looked through! He was sure that when it was sent that is was carefully wrapped with kindness just for me!!!! Sorry SS :-( he did keep the note from me so I still don't know who it is from!!! I got a small nativity candle holder wrapped in X-mas fabric that was all crumpled up  but anyway I loved my gift and just glad that it was not broken or I would have went crazy

SS- so sorry I opened, well DH opened

Iluv2quilt 12-08-2009 05:22 AM

Terri, your shirt is simply adorable! Your gifts are well deserved! Thanks for hostessing this swap!

TruPeach, I am truly sorry for your troubles this year. It is so very saddening to know there are horrible people in this world to have hurt your daughter in this way. Grateful your son didn't get hurt! Your family will be in my prayers.

LindaR 12-08-2009 05:23 AM
