It took awhile to run it down LOL

gramadona 12-13-2009 11:16 AM

Is JANSTAR the only one who hasn't
received her SS gift?
With all the offers on board we could
send her a monstrous merry christmas
package!

wvdek 12-13-2009 11:21 AM

Any idea yet how many did not receive their presents?

I will be here after all, as DH didn't feel like going to the concert.

I too have many commitments starting tonight and going through Christmas, but will do what I can to wait for the one or more who may not have received their pkg. If it were me that had not received my pkg., I would still want everyone to open theirs so I could share in the fun and excitement.

Before we jump to conclusions as to why the pkg. didn't show, and god forbid have hard feelings over something that may not be the senders fault, I believe everyone needs to make the right decision for their circumstances as to whether they open today or not. Just my 2 cents worth.

BlueChicken 12-13-2009 11:21 AM

:?

Is it almost time? (I have to post to get the date stamp so I can check the time where you guys are.)

Thank you Shadow, for the hour countdown, I can figure out what time it will be here.

I'll be able to make the chat I think! *does a little happy dance*

Baren*eh*ked_canadian 12-13-2009 11:24 AM

An hour and a half still, Blue!

I'm so excited, I'll be able to make it!

I've been watching, but not really getting too enthusiastic, because I'd worked out that the opening time was when we're still in bed asleep (I did pass high school maths, honest! :? ).

I feel awful for the one person who can't participate cause her package hasn't arrived. But at the same time I'm so excited because I'll be there.

Baren*eh*ked_canadian 12-13-2009 11:29 AM

Well, I hope she shows anyway, half the fun is seeing the other person react to the gift you've sent, right?

Baren*eh*ked_canadian 12-13-2009 11:30 AM

And by 'seeing' I meant, uh, well, you know what I mean! LOL!

Baren*eh*ked_canadian 12-13-2009 11:31 AM

What time is it now where you are, Blue?

BlueChicken 12-13-2009 11:32 AM

Very true! :-)

Now that my parcel is sitting on my desk I'm getting excited.

The recipient of mine will know as soon as she looks at the box where hers has come from, no hiding the customs form and international stamps! lol

It's 8:30am.... I'm just having a quick check of my emails (well, that's not happening now is it, I'm in here instead! LOL) and a coffee, then I'll be dropping my youngest at school and be back home. It's Monday morning here, my day of being home and doing accounts, so I can be on the computer at 10am no problem.

billswife99 12-13-2009 11:59 AM

You know, my package moved over to my desk sometime in the night too!

Thank you Shadow and helpers, I have really enjoyed this swap, my first Secret Santa (though I found waiting nearly 6 weeks rather hard, LOL). I will look forward to seeing you in the bath with all those fat quarters covering your modesty! LOL. That will make for some serious sewing in the future. I hope you like scrappy quilts!
