This is so cool, to read all the comments after I've joined the swap. As a lurker by history, I can tell you, making the jump into a somewhat more active role has altered my attitude. I am so enjoying the play and may even eventually be able to join in the banter. I've been collecting goodies for my gal (oops! a hint!) and am almost giddy with excitement. Is there such a thing as overkill? I find myself stacking things from my sewing life that I don't use or have never used, in hopes of giving them a more appreciative life...in addition to the fqs and purchased gifts, of course. To those of you who have done this exchange before, I ask: have you ever felt like you were the recipient of someone else's house-cleaning efforts? Where is the line between treasure and junk? For the record, I've loosely defined it by whether I've been unable to part with something. I welcome feedback to help clear my muddled thinking here.

I never feel " like I was the recipient of someone else's house-cleaning efforts." I feel that I'm special that they want to share their "loot" with me :D... One man's (quilter's) junk is another's treasure :)

If it's me I'm not doing it on purpose..............just a reader and not much of a poster................

Besides I always seem to get in trouble when I post.............and you know that some of these girls just love pulling us innocent ones in and blame everything on us...............

Your all having too much fun for me not to join in. Maybe I didn't give much info on my sheet but here are a couple of ideas. I only have a 3 room apt.,so nothing too large. Decorate my kitchen with apples in summer and gingerbread in the winter. Love to cook and bake. Love lighthouses, sea shells, fabric of course, quilt patterns, and would like some templates don't have too many. Also collect t-shirts from different states, recently go one from california from a secret pal. Now, for my SS box have it ready to go except or a couple homemade things, working on Halloween and fall right now, then Christmas. Ok,I think I gave enough hints for now.
