If you pay for postage on-line consider the Regional Rate shipping boxes. Box A which is a tad smaller than the Medium Flat Rate costs me $8.92 to ship to my sister in NY. Box B, which is a bit larger than the large Flat Rate box costs $13.37. Both are $5.00 cheaper than the corresponding Flat Rate. You have to use the special boxes which are free.
The closer you live to your Santee, the cheaper the Regional Rate postage. I can send the smaller one to Oklahoma for $6.15 (cheaper than the Flat Rate envelope!), $7.90 for the large one. Best bargain around!

I mailed my package yesterday morning. Looks like I'll depend on the post office tracking to see when it arrives because my santee is not a chatty gal. The excitement of gathering, wrapping, creating and sending is the best part for me.

Mailed Santee pkg today & PMed Teri the tracking#. Took great care in wrapping & packing, hope she enjoys it!!!

I'm going to do some more shopping this weekend and add to the box. My local shop is having their anniversary sale, and have $1 fat quarters this weekend! So i'll go and get some and the last item on the list, as well as replace my ruler for the mystery quilt I'm doing as I can't find mine and think I may have lent it out, but can't remember to who!

I hope I was not on the naughty list because I don't want any live/dead fish.
