DHM (not DHL-sorry couldn't resist the mail/male humor) did get the SS package off today. I think I was a bit nervous that he would forget, or get sidetracked, but he did very good and even had my confimation receipt. So I it on its way.

One thing about mailing on the last day is that you won't have as long to be tempted, or forget where you hid it. ;-)

Seems I've missed a lot today. Nice to see all the packages going out. Can't wait to open!!!

Just checked and my ss package was delivered yesterday at 6:54 am, hope the person receiving it was standing on the porch waiting for it :) :) :) I'M not even getting up that early on Christmas morning!!!!!

I received my SS package today from Bells, Texas. THANK YOU Soooooooooooo much. Can't wait for December 12. I will take it along with me to SC that weekend to open on my way home.

I am so excited I saw my package and my daughter about dove at me when I went to touch and just "hold" my package!!! It had a little tear in it I thought that maybe I might sneek a peek Nope no such luck it did not go all the way through DARN delivery system just cut it enough for the stuffing to show through :( HE HE I cannot wait!!

Just checked and one of my packages was delivered yesterday, the 15th, the other is due to be delivered tomorrow (the 17th). Sent one priority and the other Package Services. The postal guy was explaining the different costs & shipping methods, but I couldn't understand him and just kept nodding "Yes, okay," to everything. lol...

Whoo hooo!! Got my Secret Santa package today from FL.Thank you! It's tempting but I will not open.

I messed up , I put the wrong card in my secret santa pkg, so there may not be a card in the one I sent. My secret sister got my secret santa card. Whoops......

I sent my ss gift out yesterday... Our computer was sick yesterday... the wiring outside was apparently corroded enough to cause problems..fixed it tonight :D...hopefully, our computer won't be acting up any more :D

HI! I don't think I posted that my SS gift came on Monday the 15th. Thank you SS. I didn't open it and then later that night I got a pm that said I shouldn't. Whew... guessed that one right. But~~~ ...now, I have to wait like everyone else. :cry:

I received mine last night. I've been doing Christmas shopping online and their were several boxes. I'm saying- this is for Zack, this is for Jess, this is for work and last- for me. Hubby says- we aren't buying for us. I said- it's from my Secret Santa and showed him- do not open until 12/12 on it. He says- oh- it's those quilting people again.

Don't you just love it when DH makes comments like that? I usually just roll my eyes and chuckle when he says how come they send you stuff they don't even know you or HOW many are you gonna get? Of course when I got my secret santa and said I had to wait til 12/12 to open it, he says "that's too early, Christmas isn't til the 25th" I don't think I could hold out that long :lol: :roll: :lol: Men!!!!

To the newbies (me at least) this year, will you be posting 'how' this is handled? I need the help :shock: :shock: Thank you. :-D

Got my package a few minutes ago!! I live in the country and the mailman knew I've been expecting this so he brought it up to the door. It's from Texas. It's going to be hard to wait more than three weeks.....I'm strong...I can do this!!!

Look up at the top of the page here, where it says "Home / Quilting Newsletter / Live Chat" etc. On the 12th, you'll want to click on the "Live Chat" link. Hopefully it will be able to stand up to all of us logging in! Your name will appear in the right hand column, and under the main screen is a box for you to type in, then hit 'send'. Your name will automatically pop up in the main box, with your comments.
You might want to try it out between now & the 12th, so you can see what it's like. I have a sneaking feeling that it will be wild & wooly on the 12th!

HOLY GUACAMOLE! I got my package about an hour ago and boy is it heavy! Its in a Quacker State box......I sure hope I don't have to change my oil when I open it.......oh wait.....did my SS call me a dipstick?! How does she know me so well?heheheheheheh. Anyway. Its a good thing I had to leave for work right after I got it!

Got a package today and I checked and double and triple checked to make sure it didn't say Secret Santa or Do Not Open....so I opened....it was from my November secret pal...makes waitig for Secret Santa a little easier when you get to open other goodies :) :)

I just got my SS package from CA It is sooo heavy, Leota had to carry it in. I promise not to peek :D... It will be sitting with Leota's SS package over Thanksgiving and then will be moved to my new addition :D

HOORAY!! I got my SS package! My DH held out this package and when I reached for it he pulled it back. No! NO! Says he, You can't see until the 12th, Dec. 12th that is. I can't get mad he is just keeping me honest!

I know what you mean. I thought I had gotten my SS santa Package but It was that sneaky little Peachy that sent me the most beautiful pin cushion and lace and fabric!
I am going to show pictures because I just think the pin cushions are so beautiful!! They are really well made and all by HAND. Very carefully crafted and so dainty and clever. On the back she made her own design of a little pouch that hold a pair of little sissors!!! I just had to show everyone. I think she should SELL these things!!!
