I was having a bit of a time working out what time chat is but I am thinking if it is 10.00 am SA time then it must be 9.30am Victorian time. Does that sound right?

Well that's what I think I could be 1/2 hour out either way.

I have a stupid question.....whats with the 1/2 hour difference? How does that work?

so we are putting up the christmas tree today. My secret santa present will be placed underneath it, all lonely and everything. (I just can't get over how exCited I am about this.)

Some will be late since they are coming across the big ponds or out of Canada. Seems Customs is holding them up on us.

Hmmm, I see but I wonder why its 30 minutes only. In the US..time zones change by an hour each time it crosses into another zone. Thats what I meant..its just different and I never knew that there was a place with only a 30 min. difference. Learn something new everyday!

I would like to thank my SS in advance as I will not be available on the 12th to do the chat. The 11th is my GF's 60th birthday but her hubby wants us to go out to dinner with them on the 12th. When I signed onto this I just ASSUMED we would be doing her birthday thing on the 11th.

MEN!! Actually he got called into work and time plus a half is good money to pay for her gift.

SS comes every year but your 60th birthday is kind of a biggie!

I'm a bit bummed out! With the weather forecast for Sunday, it is doubtful that I will make it home from the craft show to open during the chat reveal. They are talking about several inches this weekend and that will throw a big monkey wrench into an already messed up system.
I will join in asap.

Not sure if I will be in chat I would have like to just to see what my person says however DS will be coming home from school for Christmas break and he should be arriving around 6ish....no way an I giving up dinner with him to be in chat.
