I got a new camera for christmas. (which I love., it's from my son.) I don't know how to resize my pictures either/yet. So, I started a FREE account at tinypic.com and I'm able to post pictures here by using the picture codes from over there. And, I found tinypic.com was very easy to use.

McDaniel, adorable wall hanging. I sure am enjoying all the ideas I'm getting from all of you. I will file them away for next year.(I will start collecting now.) I posted pictures of mine. Grandme26 sent such adorable items. And polka dot fat quarters to die for.(my favorite) And my secret pal ggjudy posted pictures of what I sent. (except the chocolate. lol, just didn't make it to the picture. But, sure sounded like they enjoyed it.) This was my first secret santa swap and I had soooo much fun. I will be joining the fun next year as well. Maybe we need to let people know how much fun it is to post and tease and talk.

McDaniel, your news about your daughter ROCKS!! :) And that's a mighty cute wallhanging...make one for me for next year, k? :)

What neat gifts everyone got this year! :) Lisa, are you sure "Not Secret Santa" is from here? Guess maybe so, just because of the "Secret Santa" part, eh? What fun...you have a mystery!

Judith, the thing is that I found that I can post here from my Panasonic thing on my computer to here, but I can't post on my blog. For some reason with QB, we can post to threads EASILY but not to blogs. With blogs you have to post from a URL. I may try your tinypic.com and see if it is easier than photobucket.com.

Judith1005 12-29-2011 10:38 AM

I don't think they are much different. But, by all means, at least check it out. I still don't have posting pictures to my blog on here yet. But, my online blogspot.com works just fine with tinypic.com. Yeah, I think there's still a few kinks to work out. Or maybe, lol, I just don't know what I'm doing. So, I'll keep trying.

Happy New Year everyone!! I think mine is going to start out expensive. I think Gus has torn the ACL in his left knee now. It doesn't seem as bad as the right one. I guess I will take him to the vet this week and see if we can get him back in shape without the "bionic knee" thing again.

mcdaniel023 01-01-2012 04:36 AM

Happy New Year Everyone! Grann. I sure hope you get Gus back to normal soon.

grann of 6 01-01-2012 05:10 AM

Well, I guess he is not all THAT bad, he just jumped up on my bed. Maybe he is just looking for some much needed attention. LOL

Off to have brunch with DS & DDIL and her family.

sharon b 01-01-2012 06:24 AM

Grann glad to hear Gus is better  Enjoy brunch and eat some eggs for me :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Poor Gus...poor Grann....I think he just wants breakfast in bed! Tink will limp sometimes if she lands funny after jumping off the furniture.
Grann, the lovely box you sent all my goodies in, has a new use...it is storing all the spools of satin ribbon that I use in my craft business. They used to live in a few zip lock bags, but that really didn't work well. The box is now stuffed to the rim with the spools. Thanks again.

I'm so glad you are enjoying the box. That is one time when the box is as good as the gift.

I found Gus jumping on my bed, so he is not too bad off. I started taking him out in the back yard on his retractable leash, but he won't poop. I guess when he figures out that he can't hold it forever, he will get the idea. If I can keep him from injuring the knee any worse, then that's a good thing. When I told my DD about him, she said, "Well, he is getting so old now I wouldn't spend the money on him." Remember she is a "retired" accountant, and Gus is 7, a young 7. I bet she would think differently if it was one of her $4000 dogs.

It isn't her dog...he is your "son"...and we can spend whatever we need to on our "kids"!

grann of 6 01-01-2012 04:23 PM

I agree Susie. My DD and SIL are in the process of selling their house and the farm in the Poconos so they can buy a farm nearby for.......get this......$4,000,000.00. Yes, you read that right. And they worry about me spending $5000 on my dog (er...son). LOL

Judith1005 01-01-2012 05:01 PM

Aw Gran, I will definitely hope the best for Gus. Maybe he just strained it and needs to rest it a bit. There has been a lot going on with the holiday. But, I almost lost my 4year old cocker spaniel in the spring. Somehow, she got a blood infection. And, it was a bit pricey for my budget. But, my "separated" husband paid for it. She's half his dog. But, I'd be lost without my furr babies. Thank goodness she got better on the antibiotic and IV for dehydration. 4 is kinda sorta young for a dog. (she'll be five around valentines day) 7 is not that old. Gus has a lot life yet. Wowzers on the house. That's a lot of house. Glad I don't have to clean it. LOL ;)

Aloha everyone.....I just wanted to post and hopefully it's not too late for people to read....but I received a Secret Santa Angel gift from Ok Darla in yesterday's mail. It came as such a surprise and I am so very deeply touched. Her note was especially important to NOT give up hope or belief in Santa. I am attaching a photo of her gifts....a charm pack and a "We Believe" counted cross stitch kit. Thank you so much Ok Darla....I am so touched.

That's so nice. I think you should believe in angels too, since one was sent your way. Merry Christmas to you!

I am so sorry to be so late on repling to my secret santa. I love my gifts and only wish I knew who to thank. God bless you and I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

P.S. I was unable to get to a computer due to emergency surgery.
