Sept. 2" Squares Swap, Signups Close Sept. 15

2” Squares Swap:

We will be swapping sets of 50 unique (no two alike) 2” squares again. Participants may swap four to twelve sets this time. Each set is to be packaged in a baggie with the sender’s real name, and board name on the bag. I will swap baggie for baggie.

Please be sure you have 50 well cut squares in each bag, with no duplicates in one bag. All bags may be alike, but no like squares in any one bag. Please use only good quality quilting 100% cotton. If you can see through it or it’s stiff as cardboard, it’s poor quality—please don’t send it. NO blends or homespun fabrics, please. Solids are fine as long as they are top weight cotton and not thin lining fabrics. Rotary cutting is strongly recommended, for accuracy!

Signups are open now. Last day to sign up is September 15. All squares must be in my hands by September 30. I will swap and mail immediately after.

Please enclose $5.70 in cash in your package for return shipment in a padded priority envelope. No checks… International swappers will need to mail at least two weeks before the deadline, and will be responsible to research and send the proper amount for return shipment.

Any stinky squares will be returned, unswapped. This includes tobacco odor, perfume, mildew, and any other odor that could trigger illness in people with asthma or other sensitivities. If in doubt… don’t send.

All general board swap rules apply… http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...ouncements.htm

So start going through your scraps and cutting your 2” squares and get ready to have fun!

This month we are adding a TWIST! Along with your regular squares you may swap up to 6 sets of 20, 2” squares of winter holiday fabrics. I will swap baggie for baggie, just like the regular squares. Again, please label the bag with your board and real name, and also the word “TWIST”. The twist is optional only, but you must be participating in the regular swap to partake of the twist swap.

To sign up, PM me with your board and real name, address, and how many of each swap you will be doing… such as this:

Sewbizgirl
Bonnie Evans
555 Quilters Lane
Quiltville , USA 55555
12 sets, 6 twists

I will reply with an acknowledgement and my mailing address. Please don’t wait til the last minute to mail your squares, and make sure you have my zip code right. One package did not arrive in time to swap last time, because it had the wrong zip code on it, so double check! I also urge you to purchase a tracking number if you are mailing to me by first class mail.

Looking forward to the swap!
