Sometimes you just have to concede. Every once in a great while the fabric was right all along.

And then I give that fabric away. LOL. You are right of course but I think today is a denial day. I don't want to acknowledge that I have to work and I'd rather be home sewing. LOL.

I tend to stuff it in a box or a bag in a corner until it decides to cooperate -- of course what really happens is when I pull it out to see if it's come around to my way of thinking -- my way of thinking has changed.

Yes yes yes. Must have time outs for things like fabric...cutters...needles who don't want to be threaded...(and us but shhhh don't tell the others that)

I really didn't sleep well last night. Actually, just not enough sleep. I shouldn't have started quilting Linda's doll quilt, but I did. Mama mia! What a big scary surprise she'll be getting. *sigh*

Krys; your quilt is stunning. I love black, white and red.

Abonda you really created a masterpiece. Love it.

You haven't seen my quilting yet. Relax. Yours is way ahead. I just fudge my way through. Also, when the picture of my quilt to Grammy6 goes up I'll send you a PM telling you all about the dodgy binding, and you'll feel even better.

Don't worry ladies; the next one will be better, and a lot easier. Remember practice makes perfect, ha ha ha. Krys your little gem is beautiful.

I look at it and hate it. Then I look some more and kind of like it.

I should be locked up.

Only if I can be in the same cell. THEN we'd show the fabric what we want to do.

"You'd better go here."
"No I want to go there."
"If you go there, that's her side of the room and she'll put you some place else."
"Oh no! Not HER! Ok..Ok...I'll go where you want me to.."

fade out to the sounds of whimpering fabric finally realizing that WE are in charge......

and then the alarm clock goes off and I wake up.

Sigh. (grins)

Way too funny.
