September Mini Quilt Swap
 

For this swap we will be making miniature quilts. The suggested size is 6-18 inches or anywhere in between, finished. Square, round, rectangle, hexi, it’s up to you.
(If you and your partner decide to go slightly bigger, that is up to the two of you)


The theme is “Makers choice……”
(I am hoping that you will find out something about your partner and make something special just for them)
The little quilt must have a top, batting and backing and must be bound. You can use any method you wish to fashion the top, piecing, appliqué, whole cloth, thread painting etc.
This will be a partnered swap.)
Please PM tlambing by August 31st to sign up. I will then match up names and get them out to you soon after. You will have until September 30th to mail your tiny quilt to your partner.
This is a FIRM DEADLINE! Please don’t sign up unless you can commit fully to this deadline.

WOHOO for SEPTEMBER ( Already).... I am in ....

Not going to have time. I have my Boom blocks, fair exhibits, company, and quilt show exhibits to get done. Plus tennis elbow still and doc said I have to limit my quilting. When he said that, I grabbed him on the coat and told him that I must quilt! Like that went over well. Good thing the doctor has a sense of humor.:mad:

Count me in on this one -- I think it is a wonderful idea to get to know more about each other

In October I may not be able to join -- Our condo is all torn up. We will go west Sept 30 and stay in a motel or with relatives as the workmen have to move everything out so they can replace all the rugs. What a mess this has been -- since the beginning of August.

Sept Mini
 

Here is Linda's mini. We are exchanged many items. I remember a round robin group that was a lot of fun.

Pinwheels in a cool autumn breeze. Sweet! I love pinwheels.

I have the center of the top finished, now to add a border or two.

It is so hot/ muggy in PA I actually turned on the AC today. First time all summer.

Thank you! I do love it! Thank you dot. I sent yours out yesterday. I made it a little bigger so you can hang it in your kitchen.

Planning on picking out fabrics later today. Haven't yet made up my mind on which direction I want to go......... match my partners decor? or go for her favorite season? Ugh! the dilemma.
