Maybe my "abstract art" card is a little too "abstract". My Dh was passing through my quilting area yesterday and stopped to see what I was working on. I showed him the card I was working on and explained what it was. He said, Oh, so is that your practice piece? Yikes!!! Maybe I should start over! Not going to do that though, I was just thinking it was kind of cute. Hope I don't scare anyone else off from signing up. I swear it is not that bad:)

I found it hard to get started working with fabric and not paint but once I did start I found it fell into place

How about if we all tell 2 people about the postcard swap, and see if we can't get a few more on board?

I asked two of my friends if they wanted to join us. We shall see.

In the meantime I had a bunch of ideas going on in my head but none of them seemed right.

So I looked through my stash of stuff and found some mixed media art that just hit the spot. Now lets see if I can quilt this.
