Sharon, you sound like me! In fact, we should meet for lunch some day. I live 15 miles north of DeKalb. You're not that far from me!

Now, I have to confess. Ever since I joined the April 2013 Mini Doll Swap Group, I have been searching around my computer trying to find a way to post to the group. I have bugged poor Krystyna several times on how to do things. Now one thing she told me was to 'just click on the link in one of the daily email posts I get and it would bring me right here.' Nope, nada, I clicked til it sounded like I had castanets going, nothing happened. In order for me to finally get here, I highlighted the URL, copied it to my browser URL space and voila! I can hardly believe it! Hope for an ole dog yet!

[ATTACH=CONFIG]407210[/ATTACH]I went to The Quilting Board and I clicked on My Profile. Where it shows one group I'm in - April Doll Quilts. I clicked on that and all that showed up was a 2-3 page list of members. No posts. No way to post.

I sent my April Doll quilt to Debbyg and I posted a picture. The picture wound up in the GROUP PHOTOS (There's 179 doll quilts shown and SSue is the first one). Oh, lookee there! The picture just came in to this post. I may learn something yet, lol! In the meantime, I'm enjoying all of you and the quilts I can see. Hugs and prayers for those of you in need--a hug to the rest of you.

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and prayers. I am so hoping for a kidney. I just want to feel.. close to normal again even if its only for a little while :) in the mean time I will be a sewing addict :)

Annaquilts your family is in my prayers. Its so hard when things come out of no where like that.. truthfully there is never a good time or a good year for it.. its horrible no matter what. The fear, the stress, the worry.. its all a very real emotion. I will hope that you can gift each other comfort and an ear to listen .. get it out. we will be waiting for your updates and for you to come home with peace in your heart. hugs and love.. Thank you all for your prayers. I will be leaving tomorrow to my sister. I just talked to my brother. He is leaving and so happy I will be coming as it does not look good.

Yes it is a butterfly . I love butterflies and the colors Vanogay did for me. It was her first DQ swap she did great .

Oh Anna so sad for your family...I am praying for your BIL...and all of your family. So nice that you can go be with your sister and I know she will be so glad to have you with her.

Another note...on the 24th my quilting group is having a fabric auction...If anyone is interested just let me know and I will get more information to you. I have seen the fabrics available and there is some really beautiful stuff!

Sharon, Yorkville IL: How about Friday, May 3rd? I'll have to check the map and see what's in the middle to eat at. What quilting group are you in -- I belong to the DeKalb County Quilting Association in DeKalb but I rarely attend meetings since they're at night and I have trouble seeing how to drive at nighttime.

Soooooo overwhelmed these days. We are meeting with yet another engineer on Tuesday.
Thursday is the rehearsal dinner at the restaurant where my son, Blaze, is working. I am very nervous for him -- and for the dinner -- as I think they are going broke. His pay is overdue and the owner is making up a story about getting robbed of $20,000 in cash which he claims to have kept hidden in his office. I just hope the doors aren't locked for the dinner!
The wedding is just 10 days away! Yikes!!!

Oh, my, Krystyna!! It sure would be awful! I hope all goes great for the wedding. I will PM my address to you. Even though I have told you over and over not to worry about it. I can't wait to see it and to have something made by a board member that I have come to like and respect. There are lots of people here on the board that I feel like "kindred spirits". I hope someday to meet a few of you! I see quite a few names from Michigan lately, I'm thinking....PARTY!!!!

I got a thumbs up in dialysis for my design. I always bring things in to work on so lots of kibitzing on who likes what better and if its pretty/cute/striking/whatever words they come up with. I am happy with it and now that I know its not boon dog ugly I can send it on with relief in my heart :)

I am off for nap time, a little bit ofmassive weight loss in one morning wears me out. 12.3 pounds today. Another 15 and I am back to dry weight. miss a few days and man that water sticks like glue to me. amazing how much it weights. fat skinny fat skinny argh! I wear baggy sweats. My friends say why dont you ditch those for something that FITS better. cause never know if I am out of commission for a few days and 30 lbs come to momma.. 5 days later its gone again. up down its tough. enough said. this bird is going to take a nap or be a cranky pants. not good at being cranky always suprises the heck out of people. YOU? CRANKY? oh dear.. are you ok?? obviously not goofball. I am CRANKY lol. nap time for cranky pants here.
