Thanks, LisaLisa, for posting a picture of the lil birdie quilt (the back was lots of little blue birdies and I wish I had more of that particular fabric). Does anyone else have Windows 8? I think my Google Chrome is messed up and that's why I can't upload pictures here anymore. I will try with Internet Explorer and see what happens. (Won't do it either!) For those of you who asked about the doll bed pictures, I tried sending them to a couple of people in an email and it showed the pictures on the email to be sent with a 'send by SkyDrive'? I don't know what that is. I just hit "Send" and the emails with pictures just wind up in my DRAFTS folder. ARGGGGH! Some days I hate technology!

Bertie, I'm with you on Windows 8. Hate it. I stopped using my new lap top and am using my old one which will, no doubt, give up the ghost and die soon.

Luvs2quilt (Sharon) send me your email addy again. I managed to get a picture of the doll bed to mystitchinginpeace so maybe I can remember how I did that and send you the picture and it will go thru. I've tried so many different things today I don't know what to do. My sister is bring me an article on using SkyDrive with Windows 8. Maybe that will help.

Windows 8 was made to emulate the tablet experience. With big icons and the like. You can easily revert to the classic user interface just by clicking the desktop icon. It's a bit annoying but more stable and secure.

Bertie. I wish I could offer you some help. It's hard to gauge a problem without being physically there to troubleshoot it.

Dearest Bertie - not quite an artist, but I'm closer than ever before. Learning FMQ opens up this whole other part of your brain you didn't even know you had. Leah Day is amazing to share her talent that way.

Just to put this in context. He was a trial run for a larger peacock I hope to do with FMQ. As I was going he started looking a little bit like a turkey(one kid said a chicken). DAMMIT. But instead of getting angry and tossing it, I coined it "Bertie's birdie" (he's from planet turcock) and off he went to live with her.
