Hello all, I am in again for the fun. I believe I even have the fabric cut up for this one in a UFO. Yep, I started something like this before and never finished it. What a great way to be able to rid yourself of the UFOs. Sending PM and no to international.

I have already started on my DQ.

Just getting around to answering PMs about this month and after reading a couple of them I wanted to clarify something about the theme.

You do not have to hand quilt it! :shock:
I guess Amish women might do that, but I don't think any of us are Amish so break out the machines!

What this theme is all about is SIMPLICITY :thumbup:

Amish quilts do not use patterned fabrics, so we are using solids or tone on tone.

The patterns are pretty simple. I picked up this book at my guild's show ... just loved the cover ... and I am sending to someone who is less than enchanted with the theme this month in the hope that it might change her mind!

So ... get snipping!

I have my pieces all cut out thanks to my Accuquilt Go! Now to figure out what I want to do.

Me too! A lot of fun making that one.

Am excited to get to this one ...still working on #2 for July #1 was eaten by one of three Teenage boys ....lol.....

Robin, I know teenagers will eat most anything but I seriously don't think they ate your quilt :D - unless of course you spilled chocolate or nachos on it.
