Yay, Elisabrat!.....Internet a couple times a day?

Krystyna 06-27-2013 03:21 AM

Yay, Brat!!! Glad you're settled! August's theme? Why not July?

luvstoquilt 06-27-2013 07:31 AM

Yeah Brat..what is wrong with July? It is my birth month!!!

Tara, With the internet being down and a few other things...I really missed a lot of good stuff going on. I have started going to my mother's just every other day now..gives me a bit more time for me...she is in La La land and NOTHING she says makes any sense at all but she can still let me know I should come watch her sleep every single day. She is really pouting but better her than me. I wish I had some siblings to share this one for sure!

On Monday our power was off from 4 pm until 3 am...funny part was dear son and dear DIL do not have house keys..they come in through the garage and with no power the door won't open. (DUH!) They were at the Water Park when the storm sirens started blowing so they came to me and we had a sleepover...it really was a lot of fun. My grandchildren were at a loss for what to do...no TV, no lights, etc. We played Skipbo by candlelight and really had a wonderful time..Got to say I was glad when the lights worked on Tues morning...more to the point, the COFFEE POT!!!

Hope you are better today Krystyna!!!! What ever happend to the spot on your head? I hope it was nothing.

Krystyna 06-27-2013 08:41 AM

Sharon, sounds like you had a terrific evening. Don't know what skipbo is, but I'll bet it's fun.
Spot on head still there and staying there until I have time for it not to be there.

She said, Let's try this test, let's try that test, and here are some more to eat up your time and take this small bucket of pills and then we'll know. I know exactly what it is, but who listens to a non-compliant, non-medical person? No one. Just call me Dr. Korruptyna!

Hahaha.....the Evil Dr. Korruptyna......Bwwwwaaaahhhhh!!

On a more serious note.....having worked in healthcare more years than I care to admit, I so understand your frustration...I am the worst though for being non compliant. I just dont go Dr.s.

Krystyna 06-27-2013 05:27 PM

Yes, the evil Dr. Korruptyna never uses gauze or surgical thread. She prefers bright prints or lace (depending on the condition) and Aurofil variegated thread to bind those wounds! Actually, the doctor isn't a doctor. She's a nurse practitioner and I really, really like her a lot. When we first moved here after the flood I felt like I was having a heart attack every 10 minutes. My old doctor was gone, too. I looked up doctors who were nearby on the web and found them - they're a block away. She saw me and when I told her everything that was going on, she looked at me and said, "You need a hug." Need I say more?
