I'll post the final list at the group area once sign up is closed.

Oh spank me, you did and I was not on top of that. So sorry, let finishing a quilt and SIL visiting snubb my thought process, or it could have been the excitement of getting my May Crazy quilt. Who knows, just loving the flow. Thanks.

BuzzinBumble 05-30-2012 09:11 AM

Lynnie that is very inspiring! What a pretty way to gather them all together!

Come August and ALL my dolls quilts sent to me will be displayed at a local quilt show. I had to choose just a few of them that would fit the cabinet spaces for the library display.

I am really happy to have rwquilts as my swap partner this month, and I have 3 teeny blocks already done as a start on her quilt.

Judith1005 05-30-2012 02:27 PM

Lynnie, What a fantastic display of all your quilts. Maybe it will spark an interest in a new generation of quilters. :) Or at least plant the seed for a later date.:)

Ladybug 1938 05-30-2012 03:16 PM

Lyn, Beautiful display of quilts... really makes you proud to see them all their for everyone to see... Even the kids who may someday decided to get into quilting becasue of you taking the time to do that...

I was overwhelmed with the positive comments and interest shown by library users. I will have another display next year.

Photo 1 shows my smaller quilts.
Photo 2 shows many of the quilts received through this dolls quilt swap.

I love showing your quilts to my local quilting friends.

OMG what a wonderful display of mini quilts. They are all so perfect! love it!

Oooohhh...if I'm good can I get a hint????? :) You are ahead of me. I have been twirling around ideas like crazy, but haven't settled on just one design yet...but soon, as I want to mail it and you receive it this month! :)

nancia 05-31-2012 08:26 AM

i can not believe i forgot to sign up!! glad you knew i wanted to do june. i will / have pm(d) you, krystyna!

QuilterMomma 05-31-2012 12:37 PM

PMd my partner for this month, Starshine. Scoped out her member site and her posts, I was stalking the info and what has been said and I believe I have already figured out what to make her and have not even spoke with her. This must be a good sign. It may take me all month to sew what I think will work. When get home will pull out so I can look at it the whole while thinking got to get on that one now. I have two graduation projects to do and two other swaps that take priority first before this one. Would you believe they are all cut up as well. I do like to cut fabric, good thing I did that before the hand surgery, may have taken longer to ge tthat far.

BuzzinBumble 05-31-2012 01:01 PM

That's clever to look and see what your partner liked in the past. Hope your hand is going to be okay, because you surely give new meaning to "having your work cut out for you".

I keep getting curious QuilterMomma - what does it say under your really cute sqirrel avatar? Squirrels + Coffee....?

My partner Kris told me what she liked and lucky for me an idea just popped right into my head. I'm just a bit nervous after seeing what she did last month, because it was so beautiful that she really raised the bar!

Gosh nancia, you were drugged up to the eyeballs for most of May so no wonder you forgot. I hope you are recovering well but I can see that you must be by some of your hilarious posts :)

QuilterMomma 06-01-2012 01:30 PM

Heard from both of my partners and so I better get my work done at work so I can go home and get stuff done. Yeah!!!!!!!!!

rwquilts 06-01-2012 02:50 PM

I pulled out many of my patterns and pictures last night and this morning I got started on Lynnie25's mini quilt. Once I made up my mind what direction I wanted to go, it's been sort of making itsself with just a little help from me. LOL! Coming along nicely. :)

Krystyna 06-01-2012 03:05 PM

So ... what are you making Ronda? Come on, don't leave us in suspense!

Judith1005 06-01-2012 03:06 PM

I have touched base with my partner and hope to get started next week on my doll quilt. I have to work this weekend. I am having a hard time solidifying my design. But, I think I've started to have a glimmer. :) Now, to go find the pattern. Have a good weekend. :)

sammygirlqt 06-01-2012 07:15 PM

I have chatted with my partner MSGrace and she has my DQ done ready for the mail. I have her's half done so will hurry to finish it up. Maybe I will post a sneakpeek on Sun or Mon.

Yes, it is true, I received my June quilt from 'jillnjo' today.

Actually two adorable quilts. I love the birds and butterflies. She did some really nice quilting on them.
One she paper pieced and actually taught a class on how to do so. I have never done PP and if she lived closer would have her teach me too. :)

Thank you so much for these very cheery quilt jillnjo. You did a great job. And so (sew) quickly!

I am working on your's and it is coming along but not even close to mailing it.

click on the pictures to get a closer look then again for an even closer look.

Krystyna 06-02-2012 02:52 PM

Jillnjo, what wonderful work. The label is soooo adorable!

Robin, we will miss you. That treatment is a scary one, so you know you'll be in our prayers. Go white blood cells! Go forth and multiply!!!

mscupid804 06-02-2012 03:33 PM

OMG Carron! I haven't started mine yet, just having a little trouble getting the lead out.....;)
