OK, I am in, All are cut some are sewn and the rest I decided if I sew 4 or 5 a day before I work on my days projects I will have them done in no time.

I am just using scraps for the corners. I read in a tut here about utilizing scraps so now when I finish a project I cut all my scraps into the biggest block or strip. I have huge bags of scraps still to cut down... Wish I had learned this trick years ago.

The fun part of going through scraps is remembering what I did with the fabric first time. Things I made when my kids were little! It's the memories that take me so long to go through when I try to organize my sewing room!

I see the updated count is at 25 people - will the # of blocks we do change based on the number of participants? I have my fabrics (in the wash!) and I can make make more than 64 if I need to.

Nope we are locked in at 64 - now we just need to find the rest to get up to 64 :) LOL but once we hit 64 it closes

Can I sign up for 2 spots? Well, I guess I should say, Can I commit to sewing my blocks and also blocks for my mother? She isn't a member of the board.

Do you just want me to add her as TheMamaHauser-2 or maybe you can get Mom to join the board and pick her own board name ? Let me know :)

I don't think she'll sign up right now - so just put it as TheMamaHauser-2 and I'll make sure hers get included with mine when I mail them.

I am going to make mine today. Gotta go buy another fabric pen....mine ran out of ink. LOL.
