Woohoo GO GIRLS GO!!
|
Glad we have a little more time so I can catch up. I have them cut just no sewing yet. Yes, I am like Dori, went to stash and found the squares that were already cut. Great way to use them. Writing my name and city may take at least three weeks (64 times) so I better get to sewing them.

I am working on my siggy blocks, when I get bored with my current project I stop and make a few more blocks, I should be done in a few days.

No rush - take your time - we still need more to sign up anyways :)

I've been machine embroidering names on blocks all day. I couldn't find my roll of stabilizer so bought a new roll. Thought I was so clever and got sticky tear away kind. All day long my thread kept breaking and I was swimming in fuzz. I started complaining and cussing in my head and my QB BFFs came to the rescue. First I put in a bigger needle (thanks luv) then I started cleaning the needle after each block and I seed with my foot instead of just pushing GO. (Fraew actually googled sticky stabilizer and gave me the cleaning hints and forgave my cussing in my head- Thank!) my brilliant friends. I sure didn't know that sticky stabilizer was going to be such a pain in the patuttyy!!!
