I have been derailed this week! An impromptu baby shower being held for a friend (notified 2 days ago) and so I have been putting together the cutest burp cloths! Reversible baby print flannel sides and trimmed with large rick rack. Fun!

I think this month's swap has had some of the cutest mug rugs and extras!!! Such a talented bunch of creative swappers! Wow!

If I had a dollar for every time someone said "My grandma used to make those slippers," I'd be so very rich. It always makes me feel old when I hear that but since I actually am the grandmother of a 21 year old grandson and 20 year old granddaughter, I can't deny my age any longer (LOL). I've been making them since I was 10 years old when a babysitter taught me how to knit.

Yes Podunk , I learned how to make them in 8 or 9th grade. forgot now,
or i'd make myself some. my grandma knew how to make them too. goes back
to the stoneage on those! great gift idea!!!!
