This swap is for Valentines themed fabric postcards. . These postcards can be mailed as is or in a package.

Cards are 4x6 when finished and can be done in any medium. Google "fabric postcards" and you will get tons of information on how to make them. Let your creativity flow.

RULES

1. Cards must be made before partner is assigned. PM me to join in.

2. Mailing date is firm. Sleeves for postcards are available at the post office for mailing.

3. In accordance with general swap rules, failure to send promised cards will be reported in both the public column of the group activity matrix and as negative feedback against the profile of anyone who does not fulfill their commitment to the swap.

5.Deadline for signing up is January 5th with a mailing deadline of February 5th.

This sounds really interesting (I've actually never heard of them before) and would love to try my hand at something new... so full of ideas! Perhaps it would be a good opportunity to try using a few new and interesting fabric techniques I've seen on Quilting Arts. A few days after Christmas I will plan out a little diddie and PM you to join in. I'm excited!

You can do as many as you can. Most people that have theirs ready are doing 2 but one is alright to.

I'd love too as the Winter ones were so much fun. However, I've taken on a couple different new groups this Spring and I'm going to focus on them (row robin, boomerang 4.0) as I don't want to take on too much. Can't wait to see ya'lls beautiful masterpieces though!!!

Also, if your post office doesn't have the post card sleeves, you can get the PO to hand cancel the card and ask for some of the clear customs envelopes, those should work very well.

Oh good Lord have mercy!! I can not believe there are people that actually make quilts this size all of the time. I have not bitten off more than I can chew, but it is a mouthful!

I have this saying that I love...Tattoos are like roller coasters, you scream the entire time and then get right back in line after it is over. I think I am going to add fabric postcards to the list.

I have a question. Do most of you write something on the card, Like Happy Valentines Day, or leave them blank for the recipient to write on. I am going to mail mine as a package, I think.

I got my Valentine Yesterday!! It is so pretty. Thank you so much moosegirl!! I'll get a picture of it in the next day or 2 and post. Now, if I can get out of my driveway (it is treacherously steep and curvy), maybe I can mail mine in the next day or two!

Sent my valentines out today.

Mine are going out next week. I didn't like the way they turned out so I'm starting out fresh.
