blocks look wonderful!! I love the H-12 there Sharon

I dont think I saw this suggestion already... some of my blocks have half square triangles, which can be tricky if you have to make them sooooo small [3/8"!!]. The way I have found easiest for me is to use the smallest [1/2" finished size]thangle and make all you need at once. after you take off the paper and press them, then carefully cut down to the right size [remember your 1/4" seams!!!] you only need to match the diagonal seam with the diagonal 45 degree marking on your small square ruler and trim two adjoining sides. example - if your block has 4 half square triangles - one in each corner, you need two paper square thangle units for each block - 24 for 12 of them :)

Wilhelmina [meredith??] ...did you make the "all around the town" quilt by Sue Garman by your name?? I've had the pattern a couple of years local quilt store's BOM...have yet to even cut any of it :( is it machine or hand appliqued??
I keep lookin at the swaps I'm enrolled in and the last comment on this one continues to be made before thanksgiving...by me!!! so I thought I'd just add another to at least try to wake us all up  anyone out there?? are we all sewing itty bitty squares :-P I've got one done and mapped out how to make my other 3 sets. When I have the camera stuff figured out I'll post. What I see looks great... now.... someone else's turn to add a comment
I'm making my blocks. Real family stuff got in the way but they're almost all done. 12 more to go!
Mine are already there- just waiting for some company
Mine are started. I'm doing field of dreams, The first one I did on the machine and 3 sides looked right but the fourth side looked "not quite right". So I hand pieced the next one. and it too seems to be just a bit off on one side. So I got a book at the library about paper piecing to try that and see if I get a more balanced look. Is it me or is it the pattern?
My 4 sets are done, I just haven't mailed them yet.
My blocks are done too. I'm just waiting for the address.
Do you really want them early if they are done?... which mine aren't ...but will be if not before Christmas, a couple days after [grandkids will be in TX boohoo...] If I had 45 sets of Dear Jane blocks here it would add to my chaos :)
Sure I don't mind having them early :)

Ok Janies...here is a sample of each of the squares I signed up for and I've got everything cut, all half-square triangles and flying geese sections sewn on the remaining 11 of each. I may have to take an actual "Christmas break" before completing them, but I thought you'd like to see a sneak preview
