Hi, all - I have good news and bad news :D
First for the bad >> Kgoodhand - no block in the mail today either! And still no blocks from Chele's swap either.
BUT, the good news is that a wonderful package arrived from Blueribbontoes today. Funny thing is, it was immediately after I had gotten her package ready to mail. I am so excited to show you what I received. I am so thrilled with the iris block. I have some in my garden every summer that look identical to the block. The picture really does not capture the beauty of the batiks, nor does it show the teeny, eeny, weeny stitches she used in appliquing. Also included were two beautiful Christmas FQs and a gorgeous purple batik.
The last picture shows two of the chicken blocks she sent for our "after the chicken block swap" swap. I have three blocks on their way to her (Dec. Quilting Bee Swap and two for the add'l chicken blocks).
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Brt!

Glad to hear from another iris lover. They are so versatile and forgiving - seem to grow wherever they are planted. Blueribbontoes did such a nice job interpreting their beauty.
Thanks!
