BRT-just noticed you weren't getting PM's. I wanted to let you know I love my owl block and my little owl as well. I was going to send yours out last week, but decided at the last minute I really didn't like it. So I am in the process of creating a new one. I hope to have it done this week.

Good luck with your keyboard!

OMGosh, I am sooo far behind. I didn't expect to be so scattered but I am. I received beautiful blocks from
Sdparent, Charismah, and Norbanaquilt. I will post as soon as I get my camera charged.
I'm sorry yours are a bit delayed - I swamped myself with Christmas at-the-last-minute. They will be in the mail next week along with a couple of goodies.
Cindalu was my Dec trade partner and I received her blocks yesterday - great work Cindy! She had a lot of first attempts on these blocks.

Again, I'll post pics later today.

I love your blocks moosegirl!

I love this block and the colors, how pretty.
Do you know the name of this block? I know I've seen it but can't recall where or what it is called.

Ok I tried to p.m. blueribbon before I saw her message that she wasn't getting her p.m.'s. Not sure if that situation is solved or not but I'll go ahead and jump in here and take the plunge. I want to join this swap, I think she is assigning January partners now. I look forward to swapping with all of you in the new year, this looks like it will be fun. I am interested in doing some charity quilts so I think I might build them from this swap. That being said my theme for 1 will be:
R/W/ Blue (bights this time) for Quilts of Valor or Disabled American Vets.... Star blocks for this please.
or a jar block on blk bkgrd with bright novelty type fabrics in the jar.
whoever gets my name to exchange can choose which they like.
I have a question I'm sure some of you can answer. ON one of the posts someone said they are making a bookend quilt ( I think they were wanting the jar pattern if I'm not mistaken) I've not heard of a bookend quilt before, can someone tell what it is and is there a picture somewhere I can look at? Thanks,
Muriel

Murial-I think that might have been me. I am collecting "jars" and want to sash them so they look like a bookcase/cabinet. If you Google bookcase quilt there are lots of pictures of what people have done. Books, jars, etc. sitting on "shelves". Here is one that is really detailed:

It is a fun swap. I owe a couple more Dec. blocks. After Christmas I have a whole week off-I'm sewing! Not to fear ladies! They will be in the mail
Happy Holidays!

I have finished blocks for Susiequilt, 2 doods and norbanaquilts - need to take pix and then will mail them tomorrow. Bought fabric for charisma's and moosegirl today and will make them right after Christmas. Thanks for being patient with me.
