I still have not mailed my quilt for Maggiesmom despite being finished for a while. It is all ready to go, but had a bit of a hiccup here last week (understatement of my life!). Between waiting on electricians and inspectors and insurance adjusters it will be a couple days yet before I get it to the post office.

Wow! That is so special and it has your name on it. Kind of like no one take or no one touch MY quilt. LOL I love the cake stand block in different colors.

Keep an eye out for a PM from me asking you to answer just a few (okay, 7) questions that will help me figure out-- if I do this swap again-- how to improve it.

    Thanks!

Our swap is complete, but she cant post just yet..

My partner is having power issues too..i feel so bad for all of you dealing with this heat and no power. We have made our exchange and i am just tickled pick with my quilt! She is newer to quilting and i think she did a perfect job! I took the quilt she made me up north (Michigan) and used it while i was on vacation! it is so comfy and made with love! She attached tiny buttons to the center of the stars! Thanks so much Jillaine for hosting this swap! you did a great job! And i appreciate the work you put into it! Kim

Another great quilt! Are the stars appliqued or is the 'fancy' stitching purely decorative? On my monitor the colors looks like dusky purple and rose/peach print. Nice color combo.

Enjoy for many years to come.

i think it is a fancy stitch..she could only stitch in the ditch, so that is what i assume it is. your right about the fabric color..it is multi colored. i would love to know where she got it. hope they get power soon...

    Quilt for Foxflower

I absolutely love my quilt from Foxflower! She received her quilt on Monday and loves it. But she is currently without a computer until Monday. She has asked me to post some photos for her. I am sure she will post her own once she gets her new computer set up.
