Ageed, ck. C joyce, love your round. I really love that pine cone fabric in it. Do you have info on it? Glad you got my pkg.

anyone else have pics? Would love to see progress on mine!

I heard from musicaljan and she will be sending out the top she has by the end of next week. I will make sure to post a picture of it when I receive it.

The pine cone fabric is Riley Blake. I bought it in 2013 so you'll probably be able to find it.

Opinions please....

I started working on a new to me technique for musicakjan's quilt...want to know if I should keep going in this direction. No other round has curves....

The grey is actually darker than appears in this picture. It has a lot of black in it!

I love the juxtaposition of the curves against all the linear elements. The next round can again bring in linear design to echo the center design and first round.

Thanks, c joyce. I am hand stitching the curve pieces together....time consuming, but that is why I am already tackling this one. My challenge will come with getting the curves to continue around the corners!!!!

alikat110 - I like the curves....a great element at this point- this is going to be one really 'Dramatic' quilt when it is finished. Any other participants in our group still 'playing along' ? haven't heard from any others in quite some time. i'm waiting (patiently) for my next one to work on- looking forward to this to be all done.
