I am so, sssoooooooooooooo grateful for this extension or I wouldn't have had any blocks that were properly made. most of the first blocks I made when I was on steroids and a lot of medication were very crooked and not the rightr size at all. I had to take 90% 0f those apart and start over to get thrm 3 1/2". Now they are coming out the right size. That medication made a lot of difference in my mental awareness. So I am very gratefu; for the chance to participate in this swap - my very first with this club! I just love your attitudes toward each other and the way you welcome newcomers and share your knowledge with anyone who asks. This is so different from the way many peopl act and react to each other. I know that nopone is perfect and we all have our days when we get up on the wrong side of the bed; but none of you seem to let it show when you are on-line and that is just so wonderful! I am proud to say that I belong to this group also. Thank you for all your encouragement! I know I wrote a book so I'll get off of here now.

We all started some place and this is a good one to practice making small pieces. Sew 9 units together and wow you have a block-arrange them in different ways and before you know it you have a quilt top. Good luck and keep practicing, your skills will improve. Moosegirl

Don't forget that Friday is the big day. We are still looking for helpers, so any one that can join us in Albany is welcome!

I wish I could come help. Getting together with others from this board is so much fun.

I love your Avatar. Did you make it? It is gorgeous.

It's a kaliscope of a quilt I made, the actual quilt is much simpler.

It's the 5th one down.

That is so cool. How did you get it to kaliscope? Did you take a picture through a lens?

The count down is on.. 4 days to go.. oh boy.. oh boy..

Is everyone excited? I bet our hardworking sorters will breath a sigh of relief when they finally get all those blocks in their proper stacks and in the envelopes..

I'm wishing you all a restful week so you can get them all down without any drops, miscounts or interruptions!!

Actually I think the swap date is Friday July 30 so that's only two days to go!
I wish I could be there to help.
I wonder how many more people sent blocks in that extra month?
I'm counting 133 different sets as of now if the chart is up to date.
