I got mine also!
What fun sorting all the blocks into states and countries.
Now to decide weather to put them into the quilt by states and countries or just randomly. Decisions, decisions!

Wow - I haven't been here for a while... so much has happened.

Thank you ladies (and gent) for the fantastic work you did sorting the blocks. Wow! And how generous of the center to allow you to stay for that long. Fabulous.

I can't wait to see everyone's photos.

Thank you all for all your hard work in dividing all these blocks up for us. Ya'll are awesome!!
I also found the post about where ya'l had sorted these all out at and made a Thank you card and got it sent off. I made it "sorta" like our siggie blocks with a envelope also made by me.

Thank you card

Love the card.

I received my Siggies today and enjoyed handling each anderyone for making of them seeing who and where they came from.

Thank you everyone for making them and for all who worked to get them to us. I shall work this winter to sash and piece them.

That says it all!  We can all feel the excitement of those who have gotten their blocks already.

As for design, I was thinking of sashing mine with a soft sky color. Since the blocks are from all over the world and the ocean and sky are blue, that might be a good background color to use. Since the blocks are small, adding a sashing will make the quilt bigger.

Such anticipation waiting for the blocks to come! :D
