Scrappy Siggie Block Swap-special note on pge 150- Closed
#711
I am a long way short of one for everyone, but trying hard. I don't want to send back fabric that came from the US in the first place, which most of ours does, so I'm working on it.
However, I have done enough now to realise that I am going to finish up with a whole stack of very pretty triangles. Does anyone have a plan for those?

Yes - sew a second seam when you sew your corner squares on and then when you cut between the two sewn lines you have a cute little HST block that you can use to make pinwheel blocks or some other block to use in your border for your siggie quilt.

I've sewed all my triangles together for HST blocks and cut them down to 1.5". Have a small bag of them. I joined the 1.5" square swap and are going to use my HST's with them. I've been looking through some of my books trying to get ideas on what blocks I could use these with.

What a good idea. Hadn't thought of that.
Glad I asked while I still have the majority of blocks to make.
Thanks for that.
