Hey Old_Rosebud, that little tin is FULL of the quilting pins I was talking about.. The 'pretty pins' are just extra. To open the tin, hold it on the sides and take other hand and pull from end to end... Is that clear as mud?? It's a little tricky, but I use these little tins for everything. Be careful when you do open it, it's full, and they may go flying...hahaha.. Glad you liked all..

Glad you liked them JuneBillie, I enjoyed making them for you. I have lots of ideas in my head but will be on vacation for the next one and think I will have to sit it out. We'll be gone for 3 weeks so it's to long for someone to wait for a package and don't know about internet and such. Just getting on a roll too!!

OKsewnsew - I am laughing so hard right now! I feel like such a dummy. I was showing my DD 10 my new pincushions and she asked me what was inside the tin. I told her it was stuffed with pecan shells and silica. She said no - I think it opens. I was afraid she would tear off the cushion.
Sometimes the children are wiser... I can't wait to get home and open the tin. Like two presents in one!

Jaba - I love the colors in the PC and needlecase you made. This has been such a fun/quick swap!

Hey guys! This has been one crazy week. Monday and Tuesday I was home sick. Still not feeling 100%. Wed was a blur. Yesterday dad had to go to the VA hospital's eye clinic for glaucoma followup. Had to go back to work and work to 8pm. Today worked to 6pm. DH has been out of town since Wed. He will be home at 10pm tonight. Have to work tomorrow to noon. After that I will be in my "corner". I have way too much to finish.

Enjoy seeing what everyone is receiving. Love that we are having fun and getting to know each other. Quilting is good for the soul! Have a wonderful evening!

I see by my tracking numbers that one of my packages SHOULD be delivered tomorrow. I will be watching this board to see if she posts she got it. :-) Other one is still lost in USPS tracking limbo. :-)

Hi dear friends,

Just a brief update I have MOST of the needle cast finished
a few little touches to do before it is ready for the mail.

Pincushion will get some serious work done to it HOPEFULLY
this weekend.

Now I need to let my partners know that if I DO get goodies
in the mail tomorrow it will be LATE before I can let you know
I got it because my mom was taken to the hospital today.

Her health has taken a MAJOR turn recently, to the point that
she is only eating and drink about 1oz or LESS per day. So she
has gotten extremely dehydrated and on top of all that she has
a severe UTI.
