cheese please (and a mouse)
Thia is the awesome pincushion I received yesterday from nancia.
Isn't it just the cutest little mouse you ever seen? of course I am
biased because it was made for me. LOL
Now nancia you was wondering how I would hang my wedge of cheese
and its companion the mouse? I use 6 strand embroidery floss and thread
it into the pincushion or tie it around it some how, but I manage to get it
set for hanging.
I need to move ALL of my pincushions to the wall next to my window
(and below my clock) so I can have them all in one place.

Now to show you a wall hanging that I made the day before mom passed.
I was supposed to "work" a booth at the Bird Expo in Denver last weekend
so I was making things that I could sell.
Sadly though nobody purchased this wall hanging.
Oh well guess I will try to sell it in my artfire studio or some other way.
It is approximately 20"x20"

The second photo shows more detail about how I did the quilting on it
(kept it pretty simple actually).
There is a rod pocket to hang it with but if a person wanted to use it as
a table topper guess they could do that too since it is made so the rod
pocket doesn't interfere with that.

i thought he looked pretty big, sitting on that cheese!lol
i had a piece of foam and thought it would make cute and useful cheese. i also had the fabric in the 2 yellows. under the quilting fabric is a layer of batting also.
beautiful birds, louise. do you, by chance, have any as pets?

Nanci,
No I don't have any birds, but my co-worker has over 30 birds of various
kinds and sizes.
I also have a cousin in NC who has a few birds one of which I KNOW is an
Umbrella Cockatoo and another is a Moluccan Cockatoo. I did of couple
embroidery designs last summer for them.
