There is so much excitement on this board. This is my first exchange here and I am anxious to get my name. It sounds like it is going to be a delightful swap (secret santa) and am so looking forward to it. Thanks.

I'm new to this SS Swap and just a little nervous about "filling" the expectations of my partners' box. You guys do sound crazy! (Crazy in a good way). It is always good to have fun. What is this hole that has been referred to in other posts?

Sometimes when you are being "bad" you might get "tossed" in the hole.

But it seems that MOST jump in the hole on their own just for the (make believe)
parties they have down there. Tons of food, beverages, laughs, and most
of all fun can be found in the hole.

Oh did I mention singing Christmas songs also goes on in and out of the hole.
It can (most of the time DOES) get wild in (and out) of the hole.

Well, this year I plan to get my box out to my Secret Santa extra early so they have an extra long time to be tortured (I mean tempted)! Can't wait to get my name so I can personalized it and get it there and then (hopefully) he or she can whine about having to look at it for a long time! Off to the hole with me?

pyffer3 - yes off to the hole with you, and I won't be to far behind
you.

At the rate things are going for me (or the lack of progress), I won't
be doing ANY kind of sewing for a long long time.

We must tell all the new people that in the hole there are no calories and no bad effects from the alcohol. Has anyone seen the cabana boy from last year? Or do we need to find a new one?

We need to have more than just 1 cabana boy. Last year we over
worked the poor guy. He may not come back.

As I recall, last year we had both a cabana boy and a butler. Not too shabby! When I'm having coffee or tea, I prefer being served in a civilized manner by the butler; when I'm having wine or a cocktail, then the cabana boy adds to the festivities. Oh, and as I remember it there was a maid who was never seen nor heard but kept everything spotless.

*sigh*

It's all just too, too sweet!

Cooky but that hole keeps getting bigger and bigger each year
because there are more and more of us getting pushed into it.

In MY opinion there should be 2 maids, 1 cook, 1 butler, and 2 cabana
boys for every 5-7 people. We work the heck out of them.
