I'm close, but I may be changing my mind...I want to do just the right thing for Rhonda, and am not sure if what I've made so far is "her" or not...

Well Ladies I am glad to report that my top for September is finished!!!!!!

I said I wanted to be as fast as some of you ladies well I found a way  I had been working on something and checked it out and it falls into the size requirements!!!! YEAH!

So now the wait to hear from Mardi  may have to do something else if she has any preferences, well no matter I was just excited to announce that

WOW! You ladies are amazing! I hope Linda R. will like what I have 'stewin' up in my head. This is my first swap, so I have not a clue what all you ladies like and dislike. Hope to get to know you all a little better through all these swaps!

I will love anything you make Esqmommy!! I love all types of quilts! If it is needlework of any kind it fascinates me! I have dabbled in almost all kinds of needlework over the years. I love it all! About the only thing I have never tried is rughooking. Otherwise I have played with lots of forms of sewing.
I don't really have a style. Even if it isn't a form I work with I admire what others make. So send me whatever is on your heart!! I just want something that screams Esqmommy made me!!! Your quilting tells a story about you! It will be loved!

Okay, with that Rhonda, I'm sending what I've made. I'm hitchin' on the binding (yes,by hand...) and it'll go out next week. It does scream Esqmommy, very much my style. Sorry to say it's not needlepoint - I've never tried that!

Ooooohhhh, I'm so excited...and I just can't hide it...I'm about to lose control and I think I like it, oh yea.... :!: :!: :!: :!:

We can send the doll quilts any time we get them done? Not have to wait until September 30 to mail?

Needlepoint is one form of needlework. Needlework just refers to anything done with a needle. So embroidery / quilting/ crossstitch/ etc are all needlework. It is just a generic word to cover all of the ways to create with a needle and thread.
I'm not real crazy about needlepoint done on plastic canvas. I love the swedish forms of embroidery they are really pretty. I don't really have one favorite over another beyond quilting being my passion in life!
