I know that the quilts can be anywhere from 12x12 to 24x24 inches square. Just curious -- how big do most of you make them?

I'd like to start in this swap if you're still doing it after the first of the year.

You sent a TERRIFIC quilt!
Heaven only knows when I would have ever actually gotten around to doing a blue and yellow quilt, as anyone who has ever heard me say: "Before I die ..." will tell you!
Hadn't thought about it in quite awhile, and had never attached it to why I would ever want a blue and yellow quilt, and it JUSt dawned on me!
I know I am getting older, but this is ridiculous!
Blue and yellow are my and Joe's favorite colors respectively, and I just! remembered!
Blue and yellow were our wedding colors!
I feel like such a dog! LOL
All these years of saying: I am going to make a blue and yellow quilt before I die,
and never knowing why it was even important!
Aren't you the clever one! LOL
You obviously know me better than I remember me! ROFLOL
isn't that just about the greatest kick??? LOL

Ducky I don't know about anyone else but the one I made for Esqmommy was a rectangle sampler and it was about 18 x 22 maybe?. The one she made for me is 23 1/2" square. The one I am working on is going to be about 20" square I think. It doesn't really matter. I always say the design dictates the size a lot of the time.

They end up all sizes and shapes, totally like you said Rhonda, on the design that you use, the size of blocks if that is how you are doing it. I am not set on what I am going to do for the Oct one yet.

My beauty from cutebuns arrived today! What a cute quilt. I've already looked at it 150 times and it just got here a few hours ago. I know the pictures won't do it justice. It has the tiniest half square triangles, spectacular quilting, and just look at the embroidered center panel! She also sent Pop Rocks for the kiddos and some beautiful Christmas ornaments. Thanks again cutebuns, you spoiled me!

I'm in love!
