I just heard from my partner mbogenpohl that she recieved my DQ!! She has been sick :cry: ... I hope she feels better soon!

lucylockett, I recieved my DQ today thank you, it's pretty. I'm going to save it for when I move back home to Texas. With my DQ I also got some cute fabric and a pattern. My 4yr. old daughter already picked her favorite for a dress. Again thank you and enjoyed being your partner.
My Sept, DQ from lucylockett, I'm loving it with my favorite colors.

Just a little note to tell my Sept. swap partners that I am working on their quilts.
Chigger Holler Quilter, I have yours mostly done, and have shown it about. My Y group and also my quilt guild have seen it so far, and they all like it. I hope you will too!!
Turtlerouge, last evening I showed my quilt guild the idea of what I planed to make and they thought it would turn out nicely. I've started on it tonight and think it will be even better than I told them about. I've tweaked a few little things, and am happy with the results. Now to finish it and also CHQ's doll quilt.
That's all I'm going to tell you about them....... I'll let you both wonder what I'm up to. They will both be original, to say the least. I did use ideas from other quilts that I've seen to make them though....Does that take away the originality of them??? Now you'll have to w-a-i-t to see what I've come up with. Hmmmmmm..... :) :) :)

Lucylocket, what a pretty quilt, the colors are beautiful. I also like the pattern, and material you sent amilia, looks like she's gonna have some quilting fun.
Kathy N. and Oldntatted your quilts are being worked on, but I am doing the hand applique now, and waiting for my machine to come back from the hospital, they say it should be done by friday. I am enjoying working on them both.
