Plain old crayola crayons, a paper towel to protect the ironing board and fabric markers to outline - so simple.

Do you heat the crayon with an iron after you color it? It seems to have a feeling of paint.

That is very creative and artistic! I really like it! I need to learn how to sew "outside of the box" like this!

I am glad you liked it. It was fun to make. Sorry I didn't put a label on it, but I was so busy trying to get my santas done and the pincushion swap organized and my shop is being built, lots of fun things in my life now.

I know what you mean--I find myself very regimented and even at times. Check out this thread for inspiration.

I love it! Just hung it in my sewing room with the others from the swap. My walls are filling up. :-D
That's ok about the label. I think I may take it down and write your name & date on the back if you don't mind.
One year I'll look back and remember all my new friends I've made through this swap.

I was at Jo-Anns last week, looking at the box of
(fabric crayons) on the notions wall. they wanted $5.00 or so for the box of 8 or 10 colors. I opened the box and inside was the verry same labels on the crayons as the regular ones have,
that you pick up at any place for about .25 cents a box.
But I must say it does a good job on fabric, just ask KwiltKrazy when she gets her swap from me this month.
