Just put the last stitch on the binding! I should be able to mail next week. Hope my partner likes it

I played with some of the decorative stitches on my machine. It's a good thing I practice on scraps first, I learned I should not use the walking foot with those stitches...

I'm in the Tampa Bay area and will get the brunt of the storm. Since I am in a mobile home, I will be leaving and going to a hotel. With predicted 100+ mph winds, I'm really scared that I won't have a home to come back to. I am trying to pack a lot of important things in my car just in case. The first thing I am going to include is my sewing machine and as much of my fabric as I can pack. You see where my priorities are! I have to laugh to keep from crying. I will have my laptop with me but won't be able to use it when the power goes out. So, if you don't hear from me for a few days, that is the reason.

Klaws, take care!! My mom thinks she can ride it out in Lake city, she has two elderly ladies who want to ride out the storm with her. The storm is still predicted to be a CAT 1 by the time it gets there, so still nothing to fool with. My sis tells me that businesses are boarding up and people are evacuating north. My sister can't leave, she has animals including goats and chickens, cats and dogs. Her husband works at a care facility and he will be required to stay at the center for the duration. I hope she does ok, she has large trees on her property.

Karen I hope that you are safe and your trailer too. I didn't think it was going to be this big. Hope you have kitty with you. Sending prayers to you and everyone in Fl. My cousin that lived in Dunedin has moved to Gainesville.

Karen, praying your trailer is still there in good shape when you return to it. Hope you got all your sewing stuff in the car! Stay safe and let us know how you are, as soon afterwards as you can.

Thinking of you all in the Florida area and praying for your safety. We are seeing some reports coming through on the Australian TV News.
