Judith1005......My wonderful postcard arrived in perfect shape, so many details. The buttons, scissor charm, beaded pin and a perfect "S" monogram set atop the polka dots. Too cute in addition, the sewing theme fabric.......I appreciate it so much. Thank you too for your family history. Thanks for swapping with me.
Oh Judith with the magnetic pin I sent you, you can just remove the fabric .....I tried to make it appear like it was stitching the fabric.

I swapped with Crafty3790 too as she thought she had missed the sign up. I received this crazy quilt FPC. The contrast colors of fabric makes this a gem, and the decorative stitching on the edge looks like a Greek Key. Thank you Debbie for swapping with me too..........calla

I have so enjoyed looking at the clever ideas of the FPC's. Thanks for posting the pictures.
Judith you are thinking about using felt I think you said to have your FPCs stick to it so you can have them displayed as well as having access to read them. I'm thinking of a fabric base oh say 24 x 24 inches..............creating pockets using clear vinyl and stitching it on 3 sides; thereby having them visable in addition, be able to remove and read again. Thanks for the idea. I have them in a large clear vase.......but had considered a little string clothesline and using little clothes pins under my mantle........hum....... calla

Nelco that is a very pretty post card from Pat. I like that pretty lace she added.
Calla that is a very pretty card from Judith. The pink/black colors together are so pretty.
Calla if that isn't what's found in a sewing room (all the pretty fabric) then I don't know what is. Great job Crafty3790.

Here is a pic I took of the basket I finally used to put my FPC's in. I forgot I had this basket. I lined it with a special handkerchief sent to me by someone on this board. I love how it turned out.
