Awesome! Lynnie, you and I both got Cogito! Does this mean we need to think of Super Hero alter egos like Cogito / Cognito? I have to laugh, because Cogito, you almost pulled out and now here you have two partners!
i can't think of anything as good as Korruptyna, LOL

Korruptyna you just simply rock! Luv ya to pieces! Now I have to get back and finish Gaijin's quilt! I could put it in the mail today and say its not late, but alas no PO open today, so it goes out tomorrow! Only one day late....hope I'm not banned. I promise, promise that is my last late quilt. Sainara!

I am looking for to this challenge. And yes it can be a challegne not to be boring. I have a good idea of what I am going to do. Just need to find the pattern. I think mom has it so I have to go dig around her sewing room.

Lara, your partner is actually Cognito the quilting superhero.
Lyn has Cogito, the ... well, nevermind what she is. It's secret.
Korruptyna is working with CLSurz while Krystyna has JeanD.

I took a minute to check the status of our internet service and noticed I had a message - I sent my partner handi a message to introduce myself; I'm looking forward to seeing something about each of you this month through the little quilt you create. On that note here's a little tidbit about me - I've been longing to get a smoker for the back yard and yesterday we picked one up so needless to say today I get to play with my new toy - trying chicken drummies and two different kinds of rub on ribs - check it out. Dinner will be late this evening - still need to get our rustic red potatoes and corn ready for the grill.

I'd love to swap with you too Vanogay, if you still want to be part of this month. Is this okay Krystyna. I have ideas for two quilts anyways.

OK. I am going back to quilting something that has nothing to do with the DQ. Maybe I'll walk the dogs. It's so darn humid out you feel like you're walking inside a sponge. Good for the complexion, I guess. Everyone behave. No silly business. Especially not for me. I don't want to come back to a thread full of ... OK ... I can think what it might be full of, but something like making faces behind mom's back. Done babbling for now. Time to put on my alter ego as Korruptyna.

Yay Vanogay! Glad Krystyna juggled you in! You must have some master spread sheet Krystyna to keep this all straight!

Dabbler are you trying to wreck all our keyboards with the drooling over what you've been cooking up? Wow that looks and sounds good! You must be some cook. My hubby got into making BBQ ribs last year and has a lot of fun. Our daughter gave him The Dinosaur Barbecue cookbook and it has inspired a lot of yummy dinners. It's a great restaurant not to far from us, in Rochester, NY. Bet your family is glad you like to cook.

Yep. I actually had an excel spreadsheet from Chele but it was too gigantic with three year's worth, so I started my own.
Ribs seems to be the meal of the day. Since we don't have our grill any longer, we had ribs from the Chinese restaurant today.

Sorry, I had left overs. We typically eat Sunday out after church and I had shrimp and chicken over rice at Applebee's today (brought some home), but our left overs were from Friday's dinner - pork roast. I was thinking of my DQ and thought of a book - flat one, each 'page' was something in my past...hmmm, might not be real exciting though. Could spice it up somehow??? Just thinking out loud - got me in trouble before...

STOP... talking about food You are making me so hungry !!!

Krystyna you have EXCEL led in the partners list this month, hope your head has stopped spinning now. If you don't want humid heat, step on over this way, it's a mild 8degC, breezy winter's day.

First 2 rows I sewed this morning I had to unpick so I am heading into town to mail quilty packages and get myself a REAL chai latte. Bring on this next weekend, heading to the mainland for a 'footy crazy weekend' in Melbourne with friends and our kids are flying in too so it will be good to see them, especially DD as she has been fabric shopping for me (an early birthday pressie)

My mind can't get settled on anything!! Must be that I am too complex of a lady! I am in the middle, actually nearing the end of quilting a panel of birds and flowers that I bought last summer, and will finish that before starting on my DQ for July. Kinda dark and gloomy and actually quite cool here this morning. Haven't had any hot spells yet this summer and I'm not complaining! Everyone enjoy your day....
