My grandson and I are visiting Northern New York State, it is so much cooler here than in TN. Hubby says it is in high 90's even flirting with 100. It is so much cooler here don't even need the AC
I just love all the quilts each one is so pretty and colorful!

Emily Dickenson didn't have much of a personal life, Lara, so I'm glad for you that you aren't her. Your quilt can go right with the chickens in my living room. Didn't come today, though. Waiting less than patiently.

outside of Malone and it was hot last week. Actually it was just right we had a water slide birthday party for the youngest boy. There were eight little guys running around with water guns and slipping and sliding in the water
I was born in this area but moved to TN in 1993.

ok, so the curiosity demon got me last night and I opened my squishy from Quilty Mom - what a treat! Her quilt invokes the memories of summer at my gram's in Atlantic City playing in the sand by the shore. I love the bright colors and the fancy stitches between each block (can't see them in the picture)

These flip flops on the back are just too cute! She also sent a starfish mug rug, a flip flop with nail stuff inside, and two hand made neck coolers! Those will be handy over the next few 100 degree days!

Thanks Sue - you are a wonderful partner. I hope they deliver your squishy soon.

What a delightful quilt! You really got a treat, Paula. Quilty Mom, well done!

As for the weather, I live by the ocean and it really has been delightful here the last several days. One night it went down to 58! Today it's supposed to hit 90, but there is a wonderful breeze coming from the shore so it doesn't really matter.

I have one block done for July and am pretty happy with it.

Great DQ Quilty Mom, Dragonfly you are lucky to have it!! I just love the bright colors for this time of year. Here in Michigan it is supposed to get in the high 90's. Add the humidity to that and it is a good day to head to the beach!!
