Not yet nanci but hopefully they will both reach their destinations in the next week or so. I am waiting on a delivery from Launceston that was promised 4 days ago, it would have been quicker to drive the 3hrs and pick it up myself !!

Thanks, everyone, for all your kindness and good wishes. I so wish I had been able to do this month's theme because I would have made a quilt with everyone's name on it -- I am thankful for all you wonderful QB members. You are amazing.

I posted this elsewhere, but that bathtub decor will have to be put on the shelf for another time. Once they did the rip out (walls and floors so they can dry and disinfect) it became apparent that the storm surge knocked my poor little cottage off the foundation and cracked the ceiling beams ... so it's just a matter of time and figuring how the how's of it all, but the house is coming down.

BUT ... I have to look on the sunny side -- if all works out we will be able to rebuild -- raising the house up 10 feet -- and I will have a bigger, sunnier, cleaner sewing room! (At least that's why I keep telling myself)

Krystyna! My thoughts exactly. A bigger and better place to live and Sew! Glad your still trying to stay positive as I imagine, some days are harder than others. But maybe now you can have the sewing room of your dreams!
Take care, day by day!

Talked to Krystyna yesteday...so good to hear from her! She still needs our prayers, but is moving forward!

I received a wonderful little log cabin red and whites DQ from Eagle1owl2u2, but haven't had a chance to post pics yet...recovering from knee surgery...but will when I can get upstairs and feeling better. It's beautifully made and she sent some extras...fabrics, cards, and super fun ornament, etc. I love it all! Thanks again Christine!

Ronda, was going to post asking for prayers for your recovery, but didn't know if you had mentioned it here ... but now that you did ... our sweet Ronda is falling apart bit by bit so prayers and good wishes coming your way! And yes, we did talk. Like an idiot, I called her while she was on the way to surgery! YIKES!!!

You're so right Nancia! It was a terrific time to hear from a dear friend. I was able to shower this morning...yea! Life is good when you can shower, right?

Nancia's DQ and my DQ should have crossed paths somewhere in the Pacific by now and are most likely caught up in the Christmas mail backlog. Let's hope a surprise is in store this week sometime
