I also vote for an Opening Day. Waiting for that is half the fun.

Got my name and she gave some definite likes, so time to get busy!

I'll go along with an opening day. Also, are we supposed to be keeping our ornaments a secret, or can we show them here?

Cool

Hi sewbizgirl,
I am sure you can show the ornament if you want to. No one knows who you are sending to. So it would be fun to show and tell the ornie you made.

By the way, an opening day is okay with me too I am ready to mail off my package. I just need to address it and put it into the box for pick up. Yeah!

I like the idea of opening day too...more fun. And seeing the ornament made. No one knows who's going to receive them.

I think an opening day would be great too! Trying to get my box put together.

Fall back today, it's daylight savings day here in the states. We already have had snow here in reno and it really feels like winter is trying to set in.

Warm and balmy in Indiana today. But the weekend is bringing a cold snap with plunging temps, just in time to go to my favorite church holiday bazaar on Saturday. That will really get me in the Christmas spirit!

I was in Indiana, Fishers, this week-end. Warm and WINDY. Went to a small town east of Fishers, Fortville, and stumbled on several small shops with beautiful small town charm and good prices for gifts and homemade items. They are having a November 12 event to open the holiday season. I would go back but it is four hours from home. Tee-Hee-Hee.

Working on my ornament for exchange today and tomorrow. Should have my surprise finished in a couple of days and in the mail by deadline. Ho-Ho-Ho!

My swap package went out today too. I just needed it to go so I would be sure not to forget. Lots happening all at once, it could get lost in the many boxes being packed up.
The green tomatoes couldn't wait so, I started chopping veggies for chow-chow prep today for an early morning finish up. Lots of things going on. Carpeting going in most of the house on the 21st and then to get everything back to where it belongs. Christmas presents are almost finished buying. I might find time to wrap soon and have time to mail off across the country. Then it will be to bake and make candy. We are hosting christmas for our local family members. A casual dinner and get together for the eight of us.
