This way we could do all three.

You got my vote  I've been getting some fabric together. I have the gardening, some black and white, but need batiks. I've never worked with them before. This is great. I went from not knowing what to do to wanting to do everything! Thank you all for your participation. What a great group!

hm GOOD! I have some beautiful batiks, and some printed balloons - and since I have alot of hot air it should be a piece-o-cake!

I may be out if the ballons are out of batiks, only because I already have some hot air balloon fabric I wanted to use

Balloons can be made out of any kind of fabric. Some were just thinking of doing THEIR balloons in batiks. Mine, naw, I have stripes, polka dots, stars.......

Although hot air balloons isn't my favorite choice I might join if a really cute hot air balloon pattern is chosen. I would think we should all do the same pattern. The fun and colorful result with all different fabrics/colors would be best.
