Just a reminder to let me know when you are ready to mail. I will start a list here in a couple of days.
IF you're not ready to mail by the 31st no problem just hang on to it for the next swap.
I will be sending out addresses about midnight on the 31st central time.

Hi everyone. I have been as busy as the
Worked on one WH most of the day here is what I have so far:
First time to try school glue for basting. I drizzled it on
spread it with a wide brush
Pressed it into place, first the larger backing and then the top centered on it.
Choose the quilting motif
pinned it on
sewed, following the pattern
and finished with a grid drawn with chalk
Now to bind it on Sunday and it will be done and ready.

Rhonda, My WH is complete and ready to travel. Add me to your send list
I found a tip on binding here on the QB a few days ago and for the life of me, I cannot find it again. the video showed how to sew off the corner of the binding as you sew it on. Then when you are done go back and snip the corner to the seam and unsew those few stitches on the diagonal then trim off the tiny triangle that is between the quilt and binding. It takes out just enough bulk so the the corner lays perfect and it really works. Wish I could find the tutorial again. I would love to share it.Such a simple thing to make a big improvement in my work.

Hey every one, I found the tutorial I was looking for and it shows perfectly what I was trying to describe. Quilt designer, Patric Lose, will be the best binding buddy you could have.
First he sews the binding on and then goes back to clip the little hidden triangle off. WOW! If you know this trick great, if not, you are in for a treat, 'cause it works!!!!!

Hi Laquita, are you in more than one swap? Rhonda hasn't given out swap names for this one yet so maybe another swap you are in for your pumpkin in the corner! I would like to see it but want you to also have it in the right swap too.
