The last WH I made was a very simple star so I am really going to have to step it up for this one.

One thing I am doing this summer is painting the upstairs rooms, those are all the ones above my studio!

The two spare BRs are the same color, one a guest room and the other for my DHs workout equipment.

Here is the guest room and notice the old bolster pillow. I am turning it into a WH for over over the little Victorian bed that I found at a barn sale. It was behind a lot of old wood and planks, not really out for sale. I saw just the edge of it and if you don't ask.......

The wonderful old guy pulled it out for me to inspect and said he would take $15.00 for it. SOLD! My entire house is furnished this way. The little heart chair was $25.00 and the Victorian vanity belonged to my DHs aunt. Oh, back to the WH. It has little wool dancing bunnies and over their heads it says
"Dream a Little Dream". I made it years ago and will re-purpose it. My very own dream room!

I have to go sew now and search for my next WH.

I just love that Ube! That will be so cute as a wall hanging and much better seen than as a bolster. I grew up around antique dealers and love stuff like this

everybody. I have my pattern ready to go. Now I can take my time choosing the materials, always the hardest & most time consuming part of any quilt for me. This one will be a Christmas theme, but not a traditional red & green. Picture birds & fruit.

I was on a 2 week lay off from work and I got the 2 bedrooms and all the trim painted. Then cleaned out three closets and took many items to a consignment store that raises money for abused women. Most still had price tags on them.

I found a home for this great vintage romper/ swim suit from the late 50s. It has been in my possession for a long time. I had no reason to keep it when other people collect and use vintage cloths. Isn't it cool. The original price tag from Lit Brothers is marked $11.00.

The last thing I did this week was to work on the Dancing Bunnies WH for over the bed. I am adding penny rounds to the bottom edge to give it an older feel to fit in the room. I will post a picture a bit later in the construction.

Well I am back to work Monday and I can't say I am looking forward to it.
