Sorry about your contractor issues seems like for every really good one there are 2 bad ones. Be sure to lodge complaints in every possible venue particularly the contractors board hopefully you can save someone else from the same troubles.

Applause! Applause! Applause! Give yourselves pats on your backs! You did a great job. Hope you didn't pay him full price upfront. If you did take him to court. In the meantime, enjoy your work. Your room is beautiful.

Congratulations! Awesome room. I had the same experience with a kitchen addition/remodel. It's still not done after 6 years and 3 remodelers .... the last two were upset that I would not allow them to tear out what the previous one had done and that nothing was square. It's a 65-year-old house !!!!
