Default My little bit of Heaven

Ok maybe I am exaggerating a little bit but I think this set up works for me for now. I am in a little nook where the breakfast area would go. So my sewing machine is facing the family room and I can watch the TV. ( I watch way too much ) then on the other side of the 1/2 wall is where I have a 6ft table that I cut on, and when I don't have the ironing board up where it is now I can also iron on a corner of the table. My very little stash is on shelves in my laundry room. Out of the way.

Looks like a nice place to sew and your thimble collection is impressive.

Looks like a perfect spot to sew. You've really used the available space well.

I started my thimble collection when I was a teen. I use to take sewing classes where we made our own patterns. Of course 30 years later have totally forgotten how to do that. Now I pick them up when we travel. Some have broken along the way but will just have to go back and buy more. LOL

I like the way you have everything set-up within reach.... I also like the block that you are working on, that is sitting on top of your ironing board. Thank you for sharing :-)

That is a wall hanging kit that my husband bought me last summer to work on while we were living in our 5th wheel. Never got around to it. I have not been able to buy any new fabric for other project I wanted to do so I decided to get that out and work on it. Thanks for looking. Beth
