In don't know if this applies in Ohio, but before we bought our house here in Illinois, with finished basement, a part of which I was planning on using, we had it checked for radon and it was high, so the seller had to mitigate it. I think it's a law here in Illinois, but not sure. I just know the air down there us safe to breathe.

Little birds just keep returning to the nest. Sometimes they need a little shove to help them learn to fly. Then we get that empty nest syndrome and we just must fill it.

We had a new furnace put in and they did al the radon testing and put in alarms. We are good with the lower part and upper part of the house. Thanks for the heads up Geri.

Oh I know petthefabric, our little birds returned three time. We help as much as we can. I do miss them but enjoy my space as well. Have one granddaughter who just turned 14 that we are raising that will move in 4 yrs then we will be truly empty nesters.
