Your room is SO lovely - that's a dream for me! Like many others, I like your idea of using the CD towers - can you put larger pieces of fabric in them as well, like a 2 - 3 yard piece?

You must have put a lot of thought into your room and it shows! May you be happy and relaxed knowing you have this spot to create! Have fun.

I love your room! So, CD towers? Where did you find them? I get my own room soon! Planning!
Sometimes you just have to sit in a chair and jog in order to get anywhere.

Looks great. I also like the color. Very calming - sort of Martha Stewartish. Very neat and tidy too.

You can put larger pieces of fabric in the towers. I folded these using the ruler that I use with my cutting board to get the right width, then folded that into 4ths. You just have to be willing to fold it that small. If you notice the top 4 fabrics in the middle tower, they are each 1 yard pieces. They do take up more room. I put my bigger pieces in a wire drawer in my closet. Most of my big pieces are in 2 gallon plastic bags with other fabrics for a specific project. The CD towers are not original to me. I think I saw them on Pinterest or maybe on Google Images when I entered sewing room ideas.
It is so much fun to make a space your own.
