I LOVE Craigslist! So much so that practically every piece of furniture I have in my house came from there. That included the maple vanity I painted and put a piece of 4' X 4' melamine board on top of to turn it into a larger sewing table, the chest of drawers I got to put my denim and upholstery fabric in, a wall cabinet for my specialty threads and ribbon, and the sewing/craft table I have for my Featherweight. I paid a grand total of $110 for ALL of it! I check it every day to see if there is anything I need/want, and I wait until I find something in good shape at a reasonable price. It's da bomb!!!

Those cabinets are just the ticket and not only do they store your fabric but look awesome doing it.

LaughingQuilter : I love the cabinets just be sure to seal the wood inside so It doesn't discolor your fabric. DottieBug

DottieBug: thanks for the tip - - that's a really good idea....I'll have plenty of time to do that while I'm (IM)patiently waiting for the construction to start! LOL

How wonderful! You not only have the plans in progress for your quilting haven, but can start organizing your stash for the wall units. Thanks for sharing your joy. )
