This is awesome. I am getting a new sewing room too but I think yours is huge! I am so excited for my room so I know you must be for yours. I can hardly wait to go in, close the door, start putting my stuff in order and get on with the business of quilting and sewing. Hooray!

WOW - lucky lady to have such a large quilting/sewing room of your very own. Now that we have downsized to a 2-bedroom apartment from a 3-bedroom house with full basement, I really, really miss my sewing areas, one upstairs for winter sewing and one in the basement - nice and cool in the summer. It was so very nice to be able to work on a project and be able to leave it until I got back to it, and if it was messy (it was almost always) I could just shut the door and walk away. A lot less stress that way. You're very fortunate.

Lucky you, can't wait to see pictures of it as it progresses. Many of us are green, but also very happy for you.

Looks just wonderful. You can see that we all want to follow the progress with pictures. Is there a timetable for getting finished or is it only when DH can get to it? Bet you are excited. Looks like it will be a quilter's dream space.
